Pahina Uno: EP Launch – Final Act
As we arrive at busy streets of Makati, we were amazed to see a café like this in the Red Light District. At first glance, you’ll be able to see the diversity of people passing through, from our very own locals to the I friendliest foreigners you can meet. Commune Café and Bar is famous for serving Philippine coffee along with Filipino comfort food and light meals and this place was chosen to hold the last leg of Rice Lucido’s Pahina Uno EP Launch.
With Rice’s love for nature, they designed the stage with a lot of warm lights and hand-picked leaves along with a small crowd of strangers who’s very friendly and accommodating which made the place more intimate. The place was also filled with beautiful artworks, photos, t-shirts and painting from Chissai Bautista, Bernard Jose, and Melania Chang.
With all of the performances that night, most of the songs played were meant to touch the souls and inspire people despite all the pain and sorrow that we’ve been through, we would always find a way to be happy and enjoy life for the way it is.
We’ve been to almost all parts of the Pahino EP Launch, and it was always exciting to see Rice Lucido performing live. We really admire how she creates and deliver her music with so much love and passion as if it was having a deep and meaningful conversation with her, but in a form of a song. Rice’s journey has just started, as she turns to the next chapter of her career.
We, Streetvibe would like to say thank you to Rice Lucido for letting us be a part of the success of Pahina Uno EP Launch. We know that you’ll have a brighter future ahead of you and we are here to give our full support.
